In order to let the new students understand how to start a IELTS examination and be aware of their targets in learning, the international college organized an English conference about IELTS examination at 9:00, on 29th, 2013. Teacher Guo, Zheng tingting in Student Union of ICBUA were invited.
2013年8月29日9:00，bevictor伟德官网召开雅思经验交流会，以使新生对雅思考试有一个更加全面系统的认识，从而明确自己的目标。会议由班助主持开展，并邀请辅导员郭传真老师与11级员工会学习部部长郑婷婷参加。
During the conference, the class assistants shared their experience in efficiency and arrangement in learning. The students in foundation year became certain of their new target in learning. Teacher Guo shared many examples of case with the foundation students. She told that foundation students should plan and design their college life, and made it rich. The key thing was paying close attention to their maturity. Teacher Guo hoped every student would become one they wanted to be.
会上，六名班助与2013级新生分享了自己过去一年在英语学习中积累的宝贵经验，在效率、学习氛围、规划等方面具体讲述了雅思学习之路；国院员工会学习部长郑婷婷的讲话使同学们更加明确了自己接下来的学习目标，有了奋斗的动力；辅导员郭老师与新生分享了很多具体员工案例，引导员工规划、设计、充实自己的员工生活，关注个体自身的成长，成为自己想要成为的那样的人。
In the meeting, six teacher assistant shared their experience for the whole year with the new students. They told about study environment, planning, and efficiency to improve their English skills. The study minister of ICBUA student union Zheng Tingting said that the new students should well define goal of this year, and work harder and harder so that they can achieve the aim. Instructor Guo Chuanzhen shared some cases about students in order to help the students to plan and enrich their student life. Besideds, teacher Guo hoped that they can pay attention to the growth of their own.
通过这次会议，同学们首先对于雅思考试有了一个基本的认识，也明确了目标并树立了信心，相信他们会有一个愉快而有意义的大一生活。
Through this meeting, the new students have known more about the IELTS examination, and have a clear aim. Believe they will have a happy and pregnant foundation year life.
8月30日，下午1：30，bevictor伟德官网2013级各班班助带领新生去图书馆进行了图书检索活动，引导员工如何利用好图书馆。此次活动，不仅让新生熟悉了图书馆环境，而且对于查阅、借阅图书流程进行了详细讲述。此次活动历时一个小时。
At 1:30 PM, 30th August, the new students were taken to library to learn to locate the target books. Furthermore, they were taught how to borrow and return books.
8月30日下午3：00，在bevictor伟德官网教学中心阶一召开了 “中国梦我的梦——优秀员工专业学习经验交流会”会上，两名2009级的学长为大一新生进行了他们学习生活的陈述以及出国后有趣的经历。bevictor伟德官网副经理刘铁军老师和辅导员郭传真老师参会。
At 3:00 PM, 30th August, in Room 1 of IC Teaching Building, there was meeting of exchange between new students and outstanding students hosted. Two seniors gave the new students lecture to show them the experience of theirs abroad.

The international college hosted a meeting to greet new students to help them to arrange their new life and learning. During the meeting, Zhang zhiyong, the president of International College, Tanfeng, our party chief, Liu tiejun, the vice-president and Guo. Chuanzhen, our tutor, presented their expectation to the students as well as lectures about their new life.

September 3 to September 5, Party branch secretary of ICBUA Tan Feng, Dean Zhang Zhiyong, and Vice-president Liu Tiejun make a speech which is focus on “The internationalization of higher education”, “The difference between Chinese and Western higher education”, and “Study guide and student management of ICBUA”. Through the speech, the students know more about the internationalization, their major, and understand the standard of being an ICBUA student --- patriotism, dedication, hard work, and unity.
